Who said too many cooks spoil the pot? This cleverly designed Mexican restaurant is owned by four couples, though only one chef oversees the kitchen. Rodney Clodfelter’s menu offers both the standard Mexican-American fare (tacos, burritos, fajitas) and more creative choices, such as chile rellenos stuffed with bits of shrimp, scallops and red snapper in an almond cream sauce; or, better yet, a plump, pink fillet of salmon brushed with a sweet orange glaze and baked in a fresh banana leaf. Prices are no demasiado costoso, which is a good thing — after a hearty dinner, it’s nice to have a little cash left over to buy a refreshing caramel flan. - Charles Ferruzza
